The Grid Connection Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire grid connection process for Sonnedix’s renewable energy projects in Spain and Portugal. This includes managing all technical and regulatory aspects to ensure the successful integration of renewable energy plants into the electrical grid. The Grid Connection Manager maintains relationships with Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs), coordinates approvals, and ensures compliance with grid codes and regulations in both countries.

The Grid Connection Manager is responsible for streamlining project timelines, addressing complex grid integration challenges, and ensuring all projects comply with regulatory requirements. The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the successful connection of renewable energy plants to the grid while navigating technical and regulatory complexities.

Desirable skills :

  • Proven experience managing grid connections in Spain and Portugal 
  • Knowledge of renewable energy grid protocols 
  • Relationship-building with DSOs/TSOs 
  • Proven experience in electrical substations & high voltage lines construction 
  • Languages : Spanish and English. Portuguese a plus.
