University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland. After starting in 1982 the research on PV, thanks to first PV plant grid-connected in Europe called TISO,  since 2004 also a research team on solar buildings (BIPV-Building Integrated Photovoltaics) is active in R&D, pilot projects and applied research at international level.  Product validation and demonstration for market entry with quality and cost effectiveness, integrated colalboration with stakeholders, sensitization and education are the main pillars of BIPV team (www.solarchitecture.ch).
