Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst, based in Milan, will be part of the Finance team responsible for managing and controlling Sonnedix's renewable projects portfolio in Italy and globally. The candidate will prepare and maintain financial models, evaluate investment opportunities, and provide scenario analyses to support decision-making across various teams. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will design high-quality performance reports and identify underperformance causes.

The Financial Analyst will also manage relationships with stakeholders, analyse and value renewable energy projects for M&A/Project Finance transactions, and support executive decision-making through discussion papers and briefs. The candidate will provide analytical support for ongoing financings and monitor existing projects to ensure they meet business plans will be key responsibilities.

Desirable skills:

• Proven expertise in analytical approaches and numerical analysis
• Strong background in Excel and VBA
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of the economics of renewable energy projects
