Project Finance Specialist

Role

The selected resource will report to the Head of the Business Development and Project Finance Unit and will be part of the team dealing with all business development, M&A and structured finance activities.

In particular, the resource will contribute to the following activities/tasks:

• Development, maintenance and updating of financial models for the structuring of financing on both a project finance and corporate-based;
• Preparation of teasers and info-memo for financing operations;
• Management of beauty contests for the selection of lenders (and related advisory teams) for financing transactions:
• Management and coordination of due diligence activities functional to financing;
• Monitoring and management of activities related to the credit appraisal process;
• Interface and collaboration with the project finance teams of the selected credit institutions and their advisors;
• Supporting and collaborating in activities aimed at the signing, closing and post-closing of financing operations, including the drafting of the necessary contracts;
• Monitoring of KPIs and covenants in the operational phase of financing transactions;

The successful candidate

The ideal candidate must have a degree in Economics and Finance and/or Management Engineering, has at least 3 years' experience in structured finance within credit institutions, consulting companies, real estate/renewables companies or similar contexts.

The person sought possesses strong organizational and planning skills.

In particular, he/she should be a critical-thinking oriented figure with a view to problem solving, have a strongly quantitative and proactive approach, and excellent interpersonal skills. Fluent knowledge of the English language and an excellent command of Microsoft Office applications (with particular love for Excel) complete the profile.
